Saturday... 4-4-09

After a morning of doing a yardsale, the kids earned the chance to go to lunch at Chili's and to go see Monsters vs. Aliens. It was an enjoyable way to spend our time together as a family!

Friday... 4-3-09

I decided to take a day and do some deep cleaning that has been neglected for awhile. My shower was terrible looking (soap scum...) and so I got in and scrubbed it till it shined! Now it looks beautiful!

Thursday... 4-2-09

We took the kids to the Easter Pageant this year a little early because the next week (Easter week) was going to be packed with too much and we didn't want to miss it this year! We got a couple pizzas and enjoyed dinner on the lawn and Chuck went and got Dairy Queen. Tyler and Macee both fell asleep during it and Maddy stayed awake the whole time (it's hard to fall asleep when you don't stop moving around). As always it was a great performance!

APRIL FOOLS!!!

Macee is always trying to head out the door with the kids as they go to school, usually still in her jammies. This morning she was actually dressed and ready, so she put on her backpack and tried to leave again with them! What a silly girl!

Tuesday... 3-31-09

PINEWOOD DERBY!!! This was Tyler's 3rd time to participate in the Pinewood Derby. He made an awesome car this year. He tried a new design from the previous year. He got the award "Most Futuristic" for his car! Way to go Tyler!!!

Monday... 3-30-09

Uncle Levi had been visiting here for a few days and he decided to take Maddy and Tyler and go hike the Windcaves Trail at Usery Pass. I think they had a great time! Thanks Levi for taking time to spend quality time with my kids... they sure enjoyed having you around!

OK... I need two pictures today! First off... HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY my Tylerbug! What a special day... a whole decade old (as he tells everybody!). And second... Bryan's (Carla & Darren's baby) had his blessing today. I felt I needed to record both of these... as they are both special!

We had family in town this weekend, so we decided to have Tyler's family party so we could have everybody there. My little boy has gotten so big! Pictured here is Karynn, Tyler, Maddy and Dallin.

Friday... 3-27-09

For Tyler's 10th b-day we let him have a friend party. He invited this crazy group of boys and they headed out for Makutu's Island with Chuck and Uncle Levi. They played there for awhile and then headed back to our house for "ice cream cone cupcakes", ice cream, gifts and a game of kickball out back. What a wild bunch of boys... but so fun!

Thursday... 3-26-09

When I was at Billy and Karen's house working on washing dishes, I saw this on the windowsill... I thought... Jelly Beans... wow, they are growing great! I said something to Billy and he told me they were "Jelly Bean Tomatoes"... I guess if I would've looked closer, I would've seen "tomatoes" written under "Jelly Bean".

Wednesday... 3-25-09

Macee has learned that her name starts with "M". When I walked into the living room one day I saw this... It's suppose to say "Welcome Home"... but Macee had taken the liberty to turn the "W" upside down to be an "M". I would turn it around and she would turn it right back... silly girl!

Tuesday... 3-24-09

It was Jonny's b-day today and since I watch him after school, I decided to make cupcakes for an after school treat. So we sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to him, let him open a present and then they all enjoyed cupcakes!

Monday... 3-23-09

Fry's had lean ground beef on sale for a great deal... so I figured how much meat I would need for a 6 month supply and with some tax return money, I headed out to get that amount of meat. I spent a great deal of time running in and out of stores and then Vac-u-sealing it all. Just a little bit of food supply shopping for us... little by little and we'll be taken care of, right?

Tyler's Cub Scout Pack participated in the Cubmobile this year. Since Chuck was out of town, we decided to leave the girls with Uncle Billy and have Aunt Karen and Dallin join us for a mom/son date! After the Cubmobile we went to Chili's for lunch. We had a great time!
