Friday... 3-20-09

I think the week is catching up to my kids! They all fell asleep in the late afternoon and woke up around 7pm... I knew that we would be in for a long night, so we rented "Bolt", went to "Pirates" for dinner and came home to watch the movie. What a fun way to end Spring Break.

Thursday... 3-19-09

Tonight Maddy was asked to spend the night at Emily's and Tyler was asked to spend the night at Dallin's. That left me with just sweet Macee. She was cranky all day, so I assumed she would actually go to bed early, so I decided to shampoo my living room carpet. Well, Grandma and Grandpa Rowley came over and while I was working on my carpet and Grandma was working on her taxes, Macee and Grandpa hung out. They played Webkinz, went on a walk, read books, had a tea party and just laughed and had a great time! Thanks Grandpa for helping her have such a fun night!

Wednesday... 3-18-09

Swimming in March!!! Karen asked me if I was OK with letting the kids swim while we were over for the day and I didn't care. It's crazy, but the afternoons are quite warm. We didn't think the kids would last very long, but they enjoyed being in the water! CRAZY KIDS!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

We enjoyed a picnic dinner out back. With our 90 degree weather we have really nice evenings.

Spring Break starts!!!

I put my TV in Tyler's room so the kids could watch movies while I studied. It worked out well. They enjoyed having a place besides the living room to go and watch movies!

We took some time to go look at campsites while we were in Flagstaff for our family campout in May. We enjoyed getting out and walking around the campsites and just enjoying the mountain air!

Saturday... 3-14-09

A weekend away for Chuck and I. We stayed in Flagstaff at a place called "inn and suites" by Aspen. It was nice, comfy and cozy. Definitely a great place to stay! We had a nice relaxing time and a HUGE thanks to Billy and Karen for keeping our kids so we could take this time for ourselves!

Friday... 3-13-09

Tyler enjoys setting up the domino's and having them fall. He set these up so they started on the counter and dropped down to the floor where they would go up a set of stairs and back down. He would get frustrated when they would get knocked over, but he did a good job and set it off. It was way cool!

Thursday... 3-12-09

My poor Tyler! He came home from school not feeling well. This is so unlike him. He made himself comfy in the bathtub box. Doesn't look very comfy to me, but he seemed to like it!

I came home from school to this cutie asleep on the couch! I love to watch kids sleep. They are so sweet.

We took the kids to Chili's for dinner and at the end of the meal, Maddy asked for more chips so that she could bring them home! She loves these chips.

I have been waiting for quite awhile to get this game and I just ordered it on target.com and it came today! I am so excited!!! Now I need to find people who love to have fun and laugh who are willing to play with me! Any takers???

Tyler really enjoys playing around the world and talked me into playing the other day. We had such a fun time... I just wanted to remember this!

Girls night out!

While Chuck and Tyler went to the Webeloree we girls decided to have some fun of our own. We went to dinner at Chili's, went to Target and the mall. At the mall we bought matching necklaces and rode on the double-decker merry-go-round. We had so much fun!

The demolition begins. Thorton Plumbing is going to do all the demo, but Chuck let the kids have a few whacks at it while I was at work! I came home to this! There is no turning back now!

YEA... we're finally getting a new bathtub! We've needed (not just wanted) one for over 2 years and now it's coming! I won't miss this one at all!

Does this look like anyone else's "piles"? We have boxes, laundry baskets and piles all over our master bedroom... so we decided to get rid of the unorganized clutter and made it into organized clutter. We took this and put it all in file boxes to make our room fell a bit better!

Dumplings anyone??? Maddy gets inventive when it comes to food. This time she took big marshmallows and fig newtons and created what she called... DUMPLINGS!!!

Macee with her Webkinz! She got the pink frog (Ruby) for Valentine's Day and the purple dragon (Lena) for her birthday from Tyler and Maddy.

Macee's birthday party. She got so many great presents from people who love her! I think her favorite was her "tea table" and "2 tea chairs" (as she calls them) from Grandma and Grandpa Rowley. Grandpa Rowley made them for her! And she also got things to go with her tea table... note her attire! I think she is ready for a party!

Happy 4th B-day Miss Macee!!!

She chose to go to "Pirates" for her birthday lunch date with mom & dad. They gave her gold coins in honor of her b-day. She loved them and had fun playing with them... but when she found out they were chocolate... she wasn't about to share! She then got to go pick out a present of her choice... she chose a stroller for her baby!
